Displaced people in northern Syria are at risk, Contribute with us to treat and heal 2000 beneficiaries monthly through supporting the mobile clinics project

Thousands of displaced people who have had to leave their homes and livelihoods in conflict zones in northern Syria to escape death, are currently suffering from poor living and health conditions. Their patients don’t have an easy access to health facilities and centres.

Therefore, The Syrian Medical Expatriates Medical Association (SEMA) has set up mobile clinics in order to provide primary health care services to them in their current locations.

With the increasing numbers of IDPs, disease outbreaks, epidemics, and malnutrition, ‘SEMA’ has recruited community health workers and nutrition team members and added them to the mobile clinics; these individuals are in charge of investigating malnutrition in children, lactating or pregnant women, providing them with the necessary nutrients, conducting awareness campaigns, health seminars and workshops, providing guidance to avoid diseases, in addition to helping the patients have access to the health services they need.

The number of people who benefit from ‘SEMA’ mobile clinics and the accompanying health workers and nutrition teams is more than 3600 beneficiary every month, most of them are children, women and elderly people.

We would greatly appreciate your participation in supporting our campaign “Sustaining Mobile Clinics in Syria” which would let us continue providing health care services to the patients, reducing their suffering caused by their displacement, and reaching them wherever they are, so they could receive the appropriate health care that they deserve.
